I admit it’s the first time I’ve visited in some time, but this site appears to be a ghost town. Did we all die off? Better offers elsewhere? I came to talk about medicare, and other really fun stuff. I reckon I’ll be mosying along with the rest of you…

I just finished Horse Soldiers, by Doug Stanton. Quoting the back cover, Hose soldiers is the dramatic account of a small band of Special Forces soldiers who secretly entered Afghanistan following 9/11 and rode to war on horses against the Taliban. The book moves fast and is an exciting read. In m...

It seems to me that under the main "Retirement Planning" section, there ought to be a sub-topic on "Relocation". Many of us will relocate when we retire, or at some time during retirement, and feedback from those who have "been there, done that" would be valuable for those planning that action.

I just joined and on the main website (not these forums) a member can log into his account. However, in order to log in to your account all a person needs is your member number and your email address. There are many of us AMAC members. I would guess that every day at least ten persons stumble onto some free good deal of interest someplace on the Web. It might be helpful if such persons could post links to their discoveries here. That might be a reason to check back into the forum often, too.

On page 8 of the most recent AMAC magazine (Vol. 7 Issue 1), we are told to "...visit www.amac.us to give us your views and to readd what others are saying." Did I miss it on the Home page? I can't find the words "Sound Off" anywhere.

I noted that when I go to the main AMAC website there is a place for people to join, but there is no place for current members to log in and be directed to a members only section. That is if a members section has been developed.

I needed to change my address and get a replacement membership card. I spent quite some time looking all over the AMAC website for a member services page where I could handle these things online.
