I just finished Horse Soldiers, by Doug Stanton. Quoting the back  cover, Hose soldiers is the dramatic account of a small band of Special Forces soldiers who secretly entered Afghanistan following 9/11 and rode to war on horses against the Taliban. The book moves fast and is an exciting read. In my case, it opened my eyes further as to why I agree with Trump that influencing the middle east is important to the US, but not with military force-Trump understands economics and we don't lose lives.
