I do know it takes dedicated people to make this site/board more enjoyable to use for its members - please make something happen. We need to make AMAC more visible that AARP; and it seems to be failing at the moment. (my opinion)
Start a conservative "facebook" like website.
Why not? With algorithms that only block terrorist agendas foreign and domestic, and other "common sense" off base tropics.
In light of the recent and not so recent Facebook problems and Zuckerburg's appearance on the Hill this week, why not?
I'm a new member of AMAC. I signed up after meeting Bob Carlstrom at the 2019 Western Conservative Summit in Denver.
I have to say, though... I've been a bit underwhelmed. After the WCS, I wanted to get involved in something, so I signed up with AMAC right away and registered for AMAC Action Advocacy in hopes of getting connected with a local chapter. But no contact so far apart from the email from Jan Morrow.
Guess I'm hoping this forum can be revived (I see a bunch of broken graphics links which is usually the sign of an abandoned web site, maybe it's just my browser or filtering) and that there's a chapter in my area I can be involved in. If there isn't a chapter, maybe I can help get one off the ground, although I don't have contacts or a great deal of organizational expertise (just a little).
I'm going to post in the Mountain subgroup to see who I can raise from there. In the meantime, feel free to reply here or PM me directly. Let's see what we can get done!
Upon further checking, the broken graphics links were due to a privacy extension I use for my browser. Once I disabled that for this site, everything looks fine.
