As a Wisconsin resident I am very familiar with him. I helped support him through the recall and regular election by donating to his campaign and helping out at the Republican Headquarters near me. Although I am not a die hard Republican, more of a Tea Party guy,  I can still see the virtue in a man like Scott Walker, therefore I will do what I can to keep him in office, for the good of the state.

He is still so hated by the union thugs around the whole nation. During his recall tens of thousands of union folks from out of state were shipped here to protest him. Some teachers here walked out of their classrooms, some toting their class with them to protest. Some doctors even gave these teachers sick excuses so they would not get into legal problems for their law-breaking. Fortunately those doctors for the most part were caught and sanctioned for their misdeeds.

His budget surplus is not just a gimmick of number juggling, like the democrats so often do, it is real. He went from a $3.6 billion dollar deficit to a $900 million dollar surplus. He now is preparing to return the money to the taxpayers who paid the bill. The democrats just hate that. They want to spend it on something, anything it does not matter what, just as long as it gets spent.

I finished reading it about a week ago. It was well worth the time.

If you want to see how unions operate today in the US the book is priceless. It shows the hatred and incivility of these thugs who are put out that they no longer can force people to give them dues, just to have a job.
