what you say is partially true, but the major reason Schumer is scheming for the "amnesty" bill is that after those 20 million plus illegals get the right to vote "D" we will never hear from the "R" party again - if the house passes ANY bill with the word "immigration" in it, that will become the template for Schumer and his communist allies to gut the house version and replace it with the "amnesty" version of the senate - exactly as the senate did on Obamacare McCain and Graham think they're being clever by joining the treason while Flake and Rubio just plain look stupid and uninformed - NOTE TO McCain and Graham = you don't have to worry about the latino vote finding out that you didn't support the amnesty bill if you spend your energy to defeat it so thaey can't vote - get it ? NOTE TO GOP - why don't we fix the current immigration system and secure the border, and THEN have a chat about what to do with the illegals ...

The real reason for bashing Ecuador isnt Snowden.

excellent overview Pana - I am aware that Correa offered the base to the Terminales del Ecuador, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Hutchison Port Holdings [HPH] during his visit to Beijing in November 2007, allowing enhanced Equador trade with the China and the east, and that the US lease was to expire in June 2009 . Can you advise if that is what did in fact take place ?

we are located in La Tigra Costa Rica which is near Ciudad Quesada and La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano - we prefer the beaches around Cahuita and our kids have friends at Playa Punta Uva

Executive Order 12472 - Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions:
The reasoning behind issuing of this executive order, is Obama feels the government may one day need to access all of our telephones, computers, cable communications, etc., in the name of national security, and he says:
“The Federal Government must have the ability to communicate at all times and under all circumstances to carry out its most critical and time sensitive mission.”
The American public should be concerned about what this “mission” could be. In a presidential election, one candidate’s mission may not be the same as his opponents.
Obama is also quoted saying: “Such communications must be possible under all circumstances to ensure national security, effectively manage emergencies and improve national security..”
The fact that our nation needs so much “national security” is puzzling, given the fact that Obama has declared himself leader of the front that has ended terrorism in the U.S. It seems like now, more than ever, our nation is in peril according to the State Department; but many U.S. citizens are asking themselves, “From what?”, or better yet, “From who?”
According to Obama, the items of confiscation, or shut down can include: wireline, wireless, satellite, cable, broadcasting, internet, and other key information systems.
Never in United States’ history has a president given himself the authority to shut down the entire nation and immobilize the citizenry.
It occurs to me that this is also Obama's way to stop the inquiries into NSA , in the name of National Security - remember "fast and furious" ?
