WHAT'S AN INFIDEL?

 

The author, Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry. The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose.

 

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the minority races.

 

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs.

 

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

 

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

 

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

 

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

 

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

 

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Muslim was speechless.

 

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:

Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

 

You could have heard a pin drop.

 

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

 

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President.

 

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference.

Thanks for the post. Too bad so many think that muslims represent a religion of peace.

I beg to differ.

The truth is there for all to see. Just take your head out of the politically correct sand and open your eyes..

I know several Muslims and none have manifested any desire to kill me because I am a Jewish "infidel" who disagrees with their Muslim beliefs. I do not doubt the fact that there are Muslims who do but my experience tells me that the alleged differences between Muslims and the rest of us are "hyped" for the benefit of the media (more exciting stories sell more newspapers, magazines, air time and result in more web hits) and those that want to attract a following of like-minded people to lead.

The cycle of violence and hatred perpetrated by the extremists has to be resisted by those of good faith.

Senior Crusader wrote, "In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President." Seems hard to believe if Pew Research can be believed (http://articles.latimes.com/2011/jan/28/nation/la-na-muslim-report-20110128). If 1.7% of the U.S. population can elect the President then shame on the other 98.3 of us (and we get what we deserve)!

evileye I find it very hard to defend a religion that teaches "hate" towards non believers. I was raised Catholic, but have not been involved in any organized religion in a long time. The lesson that I have learned from my birth religion, is that I will stand in support of anyone who teaches love and respect of all. The Muslim religion is far from that belief. Does this make me an INFIDEL?

 I am curious Steve, the Muslims I have been in contact with ALL have the same story, which is that the "extremest" are not practicing true Islam and the Muslim States are not doing Sharia Law correctly, therefore we (non-muslims) should not judge Islam or Muslims on the basis of the misunderstanders within Islam ...

Representative Peter King's Homeland Security committee concluded last year that some 80% of Mosques in the USA are now "radicalized" and preaching violent jihad as a terrorist tactic to achieve supremacy, yet the "moderate" Muslims (that you refer to) say nothing and do nothing to purge the terrorists from within their ranks (except, "they are not doing it right so nothing is wrong" )

As Crusader points out, if any other religion does not speak out against, and purge, those within who advocate and practice violence against "non-believers", then they would be equally guilty by their tacit approval, would they not ?

It seems to me that the primary problem lies in the radical's use of the Quran as a weapon against fellow Muslims who desire only peaceful co-existence with their neighbors and that the Quran (as similar to the old testament of the Bible) teaches retribution and retaliation with death and dismemberment in the name of all that is holy 

bottom line = as with Christians and with Jews in the 10th thru 13th centuries , the Muslims need to have a reformation period to transition from literal translations of their Holy Books from hate and retribution to love and forgiveness, and the so called moderate Muslims you refer to MUST end their denial and take charge of this reformation - the infidels can not effect the changes required within the theocracy of Islam 

Dr Zuhdi Jasser is a prominent Muslim who has attempted to effect change and reformation within the Muslim community for the past 20 years in the USA and his results have been very minimal, at best, not to mention that his own Mosque threw him out for straying from the Quran - so, it should be obvious that the hate, violence, terrorists and supremacy are NOT going to change unless and until the majority of Muslims effect such from within

We need look no further than modern day Egypt and the secular overthrow of Morsi and the Sharia to verify the necessity of change from within

Major Nidal Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood, says plainly in court that Islam is at total war with infidels, and all radical islamists have NEVER said different... in all the years (since the 70s) they have been attacking the West. They are clear on their message, but PC Americans like Steve here refuse to listen.

Only a fool hears "I want to kill you" and shrugs. At present 33% of the planet is Christian, but 24% is Muslim and Islam is growing due to birth rates. Judasim is only .02% of the planet, by way of comparison. History predicts that the world's 2 biggest religions are destined to clash again. Who among you will whistle past the graveyard and let your grandkids fight the inevitable fight?

 actually, current Muslim World Population is 28.26% and growing at 1.8% per year according to  www.muslimpopulation.com/World 

USA Today has estimated the Muslim Population in the USA will double by the year 2030

Back in 1979, Carter Days, there was a group, that took over the Mosque in Medina, (like Mecca) built by the BinLaden Family. The end result, the ruling government of Saudi Arabia, in order to keep their control, pledged to fund Mosques through out the world, with leaders from these desert tribes to preach their 'hate' world wide. Read book 'The Preachers of Hate', as well as 'The Siege of Mecca', by Trofimov That 'seed' grew into, what we face today, world wide...gene
