Opps! Not sure why the last four letters of Sir Alfred Hitch****s name were replaced with asterics but I'm gonna take a guess that somekind of language filter is involve. Any body have any better explanations?

Due to some yet to be identified health issue I have been pretty much restricted to in house and light activity for the past several weeks. My out of house activity has been limited to a few GOP meetings and medical exams, leaving me with more free time on my hands than normal. So while catching upon on some reading and spending a little more time in front of the computer I have also been watching a little more evening television. We do not have cable or satellite service and just rely on the antenna to get the new digital broadcast local stations. We have found several of the new stations to be very entertaining, at least to our tastes. Three in particular are METV (Memorable TV) ; THIS TV; and, ANT TV (Antenna TV).
They run shows from the earlier ‘50s and forward. Some of my favorites are:
The Jack Benny Show
George Allen and Gracie Burns
Alfred Hitch**** Presents
Mission Impossible
The Twilight Zone
Mr. Lucky
Peter Gunn
Naked City
Combat
Twelve O’clock High
These were great shows in their day and shows of their caliber are sorely missed today. They reflected a more innocent cultural attitude, in my opinion, and were able to provide, each in their own genre, belly laughing humor, serious drama, and action-drama, mystery and suspense, all without resort to vulgarity and gratuitous violence.
If you like good television but have not given these stations a look-over I recommend that you do. They are free. You just need an ntenna to pick them up. If you have trouble with the anenna part do like I do--get your son-in-law to fix it.
I expect to get back on my feet (so to speak) before much longer and I when I do I’ll have a lot of chores to catch up on. I probably won’t have as much free time and I will miss watching these shows regularly.
