I find it interesting that Congress is attempting to ban "certian" weapons from the general public. They want to take away what they call "Assult Weapons". The government does not want to have the everyday citizen have these types of weapons, but feels its okay for the Department of Homeland Security, (DHS) and police departments to have them.
They want the average citizen to be limited to magazines of ten rounds or less, but allow DHS and police departments to have the 30 plus round capability. They allow the members of the Secret Service to have high capacity magazines and rapid fire weapons to protect the President and other officals, but we, as average citizens should not be allowed the same protection.
Kinda makes a person wonder. Espically because of the mass amounts of ammo the Federal Government has been purchasing lately. We are not talking hundreds or even thousands of rounds, but hundreds of thousands of rounds. Why would the Department of Homeland Security need so many bullets? Unless.....
That’s right Tom. The government doesn’t trust the people but insists that the people trust them. We need to remind them that what made this Nation not only unique in the world but also the greatest in the world was that the Founders put control of government in the hands of the people because they trusted the people—not government.
