Problem postion on the Opinion Page

I know this Help section is for problems with this Forum, however, I wonder if you can help me with a problem I am having on the  AMAC Opinion Page.

This has happened to me three times now. I submitted a comment to an article in which no other comments had been added yet but my comment did not post. I through perhaps there is a built-in time delay between the submission of a comment and the posting so I waited about 24 hours and checked back. I found that other comments had been posted but not mine. I re-submitted the same post. A message appeared saying it was a duplicated post—that “.. it appears you have already said that.”, indicating that my original post had been received—but not posted.

I then changed the post and submitted the new version and it did not post. I re-submitted it and received the same duplicate post message as before.

However, if I go the comment section of the article and click on the “REPLY” tab on a comment that someone else has posted, then my “reply” to that comment is posted.

Can anyone tell me what my problem is with this? I would appreciate whatever advise you can give me.

Hi Dan

No links. In fact I don't even know how to put a link in a message. No bad words, or name calling. I am not sure what htlm coding is or how I would change that. However, I do recall that while I was traveling and using wi-fi connections at hotels etc., I did receive a massage at somepoint that told me I should choose this html setting instead of that one when using a "public" versus "secure" site and I think I might have done that. But not sure. How I would check for that or other html issues?

Since I asked for help it has worked properly a couple of times but not consistantly, so maybe it is working itself out. Anyway if you have any advise for me on the html issue I would appreciate it.

Links, or any html coding and bad words (and some other keywords) trigger a spam filter in which the post goes for review.

Where there any links in your post? This is the most common issue.
