It would be nice if you had a state specific area, e.g. California that deals with election propositions and ballots which are numerable and confusing in CA.
We could create a state specific category but it would take up a lot of space and I'm not sure how active it would be. If a few of the other members agree we can try it out and see how it works. Let me know guys.

the only problem i see is, we only have a hand full of active forum members and to create 50 categories 1 for each state will more likely then not end up is just sitting there taking up space.
You will have posts just sitting around waiting for months with no response.
I do think it could be very useful! but I really don't think we are big enough for it to be effective.
I think if you are looking to meet with people in your area we should make a single category called "meet and greet" you can post in there saying "I live in the NY area and would like to meet with other AMAC members". Then if this category become too busy we should then upgrade to having a category for each state.
But until then we should keep it simpler so people that are new wont have trouble navigating around.
What do you think of just make a single category for this, instead of 1 for each state?

Well, if not for each state.... Maybe for each area (West Coast, South West, North West, Rocky Mountian area North, Rocky Mountian South, Midwest North, Midwest South, New England Area, Mid East Coast, and southern East Coast.) There is strength in numbers, and finding others that think as you do gives strength to any objective.
You might have them mention in the Magazine that you have established this area for those that want to converse and maybe meet with other members in their area.
Hi, i would like to get to meet some of you that either are planning to retire in the next 2-3 years, or are retired to Florida, Texas or Utah. Would like to hear about your experience. All Ohio State alumni or classic car guys and wives, and those who like to cruise.
