This kind of Checker game is played on a 64 square board, (a normal Checker board). The men move to the side or forward, but not backward, in a straight direction, instead of diagonally. All 64 squares are played on.There are 16 men to each side; none on the last row to start with, and 8 each on the 2nd and 3rd rows.Captures are done to the side or forward. You must take a jump if possible, and the maximum take is compulsory.Pieces are removed one by one when captured. The king has a sweep of any number of squares, and is the only piece that can move backward.(Be careful, kings can be easily captured when forced to take a jump, and then are captured themselves.)
