Monday morning, a week ago, I woke up with the subject afirmity, right out of the blue.    Emergency visit to my opthamalagist - followed by emergency visit to my regular doctor - followed by a stat MRI (negative) - now referred to neuro-opthamalagist - waiting for him to call back (8 days now).

Anyone gone through this?  What to expect?  Vision failure very scary!  Walking around with a "pirate patch" over failed eye.
