Wouldn't it be great if members could find different businesses in their area that would give a discount to AMAC members? You know, like a car dealer or a dry cleaning place, or maybe a fast food eatery that would help the business and make you want to come back.
I was just thinking, if we got some company like Dunkin Doughnuts to offer free coffee with a purchase, and an AMAC card, or Seven-Eleven a free upgrade on your drink with your AMAC card or maybe 10% off you oil change at Jiffy Lube with your AMAC card. It would help their business, and give the AMAC member a warm fuzzy feeling.
Combined efforts by a few members in an area could make something like this happen. Of course it would have to be cleared by the AMAC home office.
We actually have a Local Member Discounts section here http://amac.us/member-discounts.php
I know we are currently working on national vendors via our affiliate marketer but I think putting some vendors like the ones you mentioned on the list would be beneficial.

Looked up what vendors/businesses are listed under Las Vegas, NV. There is a carpet cleaner as the only listing. I am sure a city the size of Las Vegas could do better than one business. If a few members could get together they could probably get some businesses that deal with tourists to give discounts.
If I were living in Milwaukee WI, and was a member of AMAC and was about to visit Las Vegas, I would look to see what businesses gave AMAC discounts. I know, some motels do, but what about a nice place to eat, or maybe tours to the Grand Canyon, or Death Valley, or theaters for movies. We have the Mob Museum, and many many things to see other than casinos, and NOBODY has heard of AMAC.
NOTE: Some businesses will give a discount if you ask for one.
Tom we would love to develop some sort of AMAC community in major cities across the nation unfortunately we don't have the man power to co-ordinate these kind of operations yet. Our member ship though growing by the day is not big enough for have the kind of power.
However, as an ambassador you have to ability to request some handouts and documents to spread the word in your area! Maybe you would be able to create that community for us in your area. If you contact our Ambassador department directly they might be able to better direct you. You can e-mail Ambassador@amac.us and speak to Corey or George.
I am currently working on trying to get the ambassadors to utilize this forum for easier communication between them but it's a slow process as well as some of our members are less computer savvy as you guys are.

I got mine about six weeks after I signed up. You might want to prod the home office, as I know they are pretty busy trying to get more businesses and new members, and possibly your membership card may still be in the office. If not, I am sure they will be glad to send you a new one.
Occasionally they get lost in the mail, if you call 1-888-262-2006 and request for your cards they will send you e-mail ones and/or mail you new one ASAP.

I'm new at this, so hope I'm doing the right thing.
First, I think donuts are no good and I never set foot inside any donut shop. And as a Sr. citizen, why would pay over $1 for a tiny cup of Sr. Coffee at Dunkins
when I can get a good size of the coffee voted best at McDonald's for .85 or a Burger King for .52 or .53 ?
2nd - I live in Mass. and wonder why road service is not offered by AMAC. I dropped AAA after many years, when I found I could get the same road service thru
my Auto Insurance I was already paying for. Booking online travel gives more options than AAA, so who needs it.
