This ad makes it seem that senior citizens will be so well cared for with Obamacare. The senior man says how his life was saved because of free care for cancer and now he can enjoy his grandchildren.
This seems to be a lie to me. It seems to me that Obamacare will be healthcare for the healthy.
Let me give you a first hand report on what the Medicare we now have did for me. In 2008 I was found to have 2 types of cancer. One, & by far the most deadly was in my small intestines while the other was Prostate Cancer that was very small. I went on the web & talked to several doctors about where they felt I should have this cancer treated. Understand that "I" had 100% of the deciding vote on where to have treatment done. I was in the hospital, OF MY CHOICE, for 3 weeks; used a doctor, OF MY CHOICE; went home with an infection that caused me to be flat on my back for 4 weeks during which time I had nurses come to my home every day to address this infection & was issued a "wound pack" that I understand is very, very expensive! I then returned to the hospital, OF MY CHOICE, for 4 months of chemo.
After the above I, after much research, decided to have my Prostate Cancer treated in Atlanta, GA. I moved to Atlanta where I stayed, at my own expense, for 6 weeks while taking the treatments. Since then I have been checked every 6 months & have remained 100% cancer free!
Now, all the above COST ME NOTHING! O, I do pay my Medicare part B & carry a suplement policy through AMAC not AARP. I would suggest everyone who has issues with AARP as I do, take a look at AMAC. You can read their story at www.AMAC.com
Under "obama care" I won't get to - pick my own doctors - my own hospital - will have someone other than a medical doctor say if I can even be treated & if so how! Nothing I want!
If you have ever been un-lucky enough to have had to have medical treatment while in a country, like Canada, that has "social medicine" like obama wants to jam down our throats, then you know what I am talking about! I have, & let me tell you it is no pleasure! obama wants to take care of those who vote for him that don't or won't work, & that seems to be a very large number of us. I suggest you really work to support those you elect to office that can destroy obama care. If your elected representatives don't stand up for you & your desires then VOTE THEM OUT!
First off I haven't seen the add? second anything on TV has to be suspect. Someone is making money off of it and if it's gov't backed, well I think we both feel the same way. Obamacare/or abomination part to this program should be a limited because there constitutionally illegal, and the courts are working on those now. Other parts are financially unsupportable, young people don't want to be forced into buying some they don't need or want. Older people can afford morethen already we have, and don't need to be forced into something new. Keep spread the word to see all the way we can defeat this. Abomination.

The Government Accounting Office let the cat out of the bag yesterday when it comes to Medicare Advantage. Obama is illegally shifting funds to hide the fact that this program will disappear after the election. If Obama is re-elected, Medicare Advantage will be no more come the first of the year, even though they are going to have seniors enrolling just before the election. This is a massive cover up, and the mainstream press is not talking about it. What is worse is the Rupublicans, and Romney are not mentioning it either. The GAO recognized what Obama was doing and told him to stop, but do you think he is going to pay attention?
Although the answer as an example, it's time we take matters into our own hands. The media does a lot of talk about it, you can't trust are politicians. Let's do it ourselves tell your friends, writer representatives and yes! E-mail fox news, Governor Huckabee, Bill O'Reilly you get the Idea that split the word out ourselfs. That sounds pretty bad the way it is presented there, this WSJ story has a different spin.
