For those interested in how this nation was founded - I strongly recommend the documentary "Monumental: In Search of America's National Treasure" by Kirk Cameron.  It does a magnificent job of presenting the struggles that the Pilgrims that landed at Plymouth, MA went through in the 20 years preceding their arrival.  It also makes the case for our Founding Fathers being fully invested in the Bible and its principles in putting the founding documents together.
