I hope it's only the nice warmer weather keeping the threads concerning the outrageous and illegal trading with the taliban down here.

 

Issuing a statement saying I'm sorry I broke the law wouldn't get anyone else a pass on Our Country's betrayal by the current administrator-n-thief.

 

We just sit on the sidelines and watch Our Country people, not the governments, but Our Country being destroyed by lawless actions of D.C.

That's what bothers me. Everyone from the over 50 group I am now a part of, will sit around at the dinner table and talk about it, but not put it on the line out in the public eye where it can make a difference. Believe me when I say most have been bullied into not speaking their minds anymore and being honest. Examples set by the media, politicians, and Hollywood have set examples of it's okay to lie and be deceitful. Spin and twist on word have reached a new art form in this country.
I, for one, am sick and tired of and want to ban the following terms or words:
misspoke - this is not a word in the English language folks. It was made up during the Clinton years as a way to wrangle out of being caught in a lie.
walking it back - BS!!! Media and pols have gotten away with saying something and then being allowed to wiggle out of being fired or tossed by saying they walked it back.
taking it out of context - Again, BS!!! If you said it you said it. Take ownership of it and back it with fact and DON'T APOLOGIZE. That's what the 1st amend. is for.

Being POLITICALLY CORRECT seems to be the NEW NORM that I do NOT follow.  I do my best to make my views well known...
