A defense the kosher rich?

confuseHere in Texas this week!

A defense team psychologist said the teen who drove drunk and killed four people suffered from "affluenza," a condition where a person feels shielded from problems by money.

My observations.

I’m sure that we’ve all seen this headline, and are aware of the outcry to remove to judge from the bench.  Because of how this case has been handled in the media people seem to be more upset this time.  However this defense has been used by many people of higher upper economic stature; but it’s also used by the Washington elite every day to justify their bad behavior.  Yet no one has yet has called for the removal of bad politicians.

Affluenza," the affliction cited by a psychologist to argue that a North Texas teenager from a wealthy family should not be sent to prison for killing four pedestrians while driving drunk, is not a recognized diagnosis and should not be used to justify bad behavior, psychologists said Thursday.  Windows can go in a trash widow if the home of the printing your

A judge's decision to give 16-year-old Ethan Couch 10 years of probation for the fatal accident sparked outrage from relatives of those killed and has led to questions about the defense strategy. A psychologist testified in Couch's trial in a Fort Worth juvenile court that as a result of "affluenza," the boy should not receive the maximum 20-year prison sentence prosecutors were seeking.

I believe that most of us believe that the situation will be seriously looked at by a higher court and the sentence may be corrected.  For legal system to survive a defense such as Affluenza cannot be allowed to be used by anyone as a trial defense.

So what are the American people willing to do about this defense (Affluenza) that is used every day by politicians in Washington?  In this case the American people only court of review; is the court of moral interpretation by the people.  Will we continue to put the same kind of people back in the Washington and continue to allow them this type of a difference?  And are we willing to continue to allow these people who represent us not be held accountable for their bad conduct?

I agree with the comment asking why Kosher Rich.  I do not know the intent but it could be taken as an anti Semitic slur.  As for the boy, he was only 16 and should not be treated as an adult, however, I do not think that the punishment was severe enough.  From the article it seems he served no time and was not required to perform any kind of penance.

I disagree he killed 4 people and at 16 SHOULD be tried as an adult if he was from the hood he would be.
