My girl and I joined AMAC on the advice of Michael Medved. We alternate residences between Burien (West Seattle), Bainbridge Island, and St Louis MO.  We love the northwest but the people here tend to be very much blue state in orientation.  I guess that's what you have to endure if you want to live on the left coast.
