I'm having a difficult time with considering myself old enough to be part of a group that's considered retirement age.
I'm in the best shape of my life in many areas and I'm often saddened, as I watch others, good hard working people out here in life struggle through the difficult economic environment that has us being strangled by the growth of non-performing beaurocrats who continually increase their micro-managing grip on us with additional burdens and regulations, as opposed to appreciating the beauty of our God given freedom and liberty.
I do know this, I LOVE this great country of ours and I'm praying everyday that we, as a very large and potentially influential group of people, will begin to fight back and regain the common sense management needed to run things better, and I believe that by doing so, we'll begin to restore the kind of FREE country that we were so very blessed to be a part of as we grew up relatively unencumbered by nonsense, protectionism and hypersensitivity about practicall everything.
Far too many groups exist that build big structures under a certain premise, and then they ultimately forget that they were built on the cause of serving those who believed in the initial message, let's hope that this AMAC organization is different, and that it becomes a place for us to unite and take the fight for freedom and liberty whare it needs to be taken to be fought and WON successfully.
Jazzed to be part of a thoughtful movement that could help us all regain our precious and amazing experiment in freedom proudly known the world over as America.
Looking forward to connecting to some forward thinkers that can go on offense as we stand up for the truths that this great country was founded upon.
I know what you mean about not feeling old. In the past few weeks I have spent a night in the hospital (first time since 1969) with chest pain and breathing difficulties (cause yet to be determined). And I still feel young. My mind just doesn't agree with my body on certain issues.
I believe most of us here also share you feelings about getting this country back on track. Good to have you with us.
FOTH, I am still learning about forums. I agree with your statements. At 61, recently retired with a bum knee, I am a little slow. I have a horses to keep me busy, but as soon as we get all the finances right from retiring, I plan on getting involved in repairing damages done to our country. I had the link come up as I was about to sign out of my E-mail. CYA
