New Member Would Like to Introduce Myself

Hello, I'm new here so thought that it would be a good idea to introduce myself. I was born in a little town in Kentucky just across the Ohio River from Evansville, In. My mom and dad were born in this area also around Reed, Ky. My dad worked for the L & N Railroad so we moved around from Reed, Ky to Evansville, In., to Earlington, Ky, to Providence, Ky, to Springfield, Tn, and back to Evansville where I completed high school at Mater Dei High in 1961. Soon after high school graduation I joined the army and served with the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC as a parachute rigger with the aerial delivery platoon. I also served in Mainz and Weisbaden, Germany as a parachute rigger in aerial delivery.

While serving at Fort Bragg I met my wife of 48 yrs, we married and now have 3 sons and 3 grandson. I have retired as owner of a small textile co. and now have a small traditional archery shop which provides an opportunity to work with some wonderful people.

I was born and raised as a Catholic, and politically I am right of center. My family was almost all Democrat but last year my wife and I changed our registration to "Unafiliated". I have a low opinion of almost all politicians and feel that our country is in grave danger. We have been to Washington, Raleigh, and local to show our support for issues like Pro Life, and Pro Gun Rights. We are Tea Party Patriots and stand by those issues. I hope that this has not offended anyone, and I try to keep an open mind. I believe strongly that we have a duty to correct our nation's problems.

Don, I agree with FOTH; I was not even offended by your mentioning that you were born and raised as a Catholic (I am Jewish) or that you are "pro life" (being somewhat libertarian on the subject, some of my beliefs are not consistent with most folks who are "pro life"). Thank you for serving our country in the army. I'm glad you joined! smile

Don,

You've given no reason for anyone to be offended and from want I have seen from the Members using this forum I doubt that any offense will be taken.

Welcome Aboard.

Nice to chat with the like minded people. Now that I'm finally retired, I plan to help return our constitution, once again to the " Law of the land". See you in the forum. Glad have met you all here.

If we don't find our footing and take a stand, there will be others who will try to take over our country and make changes that moral principled people will find offensive. We now have a would be dictator in the White House who is doing everthing possible to divide this nation in order to control it. Don't be surprised if we find ourselves under martial law in the near future, and don't be surprised if reason is found for the current dictator to continue in power after 2016. If we don't wake up the population this is exactly what may happen. God help us and God bless America.

Hello, I am a new member and not at all sure I am commenting in the right place. It says "Quick Reply". but I am not replying to anything, just introducing myself. I could not find any other way. My name is Wayne T. Ollick from New Jersey. I am an author, writer and blogger and manage my own website. I will not give the URL since, If I am reading the rules correctly, I have to post 5 times before I do that. I gladly dumped AARP and signed up with AMAC about 2 years ago once I realized that AARP was in Obama's pocket. I have also joined the Ambassador Club and will try to sign people up locally. I have already been forwarding AMAC emails to 300 followers and, hopefully, many have signed up from those forwards. I look forward to helping AMAC grow and am happy to be aboard.

Welcome, Wayne! For future reference, when you want to start a new message thread (which I take it was your intent from your "I am not replying to anything, just introducting myself."), just click the button labeled "Start A New Topic" near the top right of the main page of the forum to which you would like to add your message.

Welcome aboard Wayne. I dropped AARP and switched to AMAC for the same reasons. Man wants to change things for his convenience but God's laws do not change.
