There are is a free online course, Constitution 101 sponsored by Hillsdale College. I finished the course a few months ago, prior to the Presidential election. I wanted to know more about the Constitution, and why the difference between Republicans/Conservatives, and Democrats/Liberals.
It was quite a learning experience. The online lectures are lengthy, with readings after each lecture. Then there is a quiz you must pass by a percentage after each lecture. These quizes are rather easy to pass. Finally, after all the lectures are complete, there is a very lengthy final. You have to pass that by a percentage. I found a trick to pass that final quiz, or I would still be taking the quiz today. It is a course that is very worthwhile, and it is free. You can donate a contribution to Hillsdale, if you choose.
I agree Smarty. I did the course last fall and it was well worth the time.
They have other courses such as constitution 201 etc. The also have history courses. They are all online and free, however they do solicit a donation from time to time.
