AMAC Offers Petition on Debt Ceiling and Budget Cuts
Permalink Closed

petition.png AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, has petitioned the Obama Administration to commit to a 2% across the board budget cut for 2014, in exchange for allowing the debt ceiling to be raised one more time.

The 2% budget cut wold be based on 2013 spending levels. Each Department Secretary will be responsible for making their respective budget cuts which will be subject to Congressional approval.

If we receive 25,000 signatures by 2/14/13, the White House will issue an official response to AMAC. Don’t delay, sign the petition today!

Hm, I'd convinced myself to do this, clicked on "Sign Petition Here" and found myself being asked to create a WhiteHouse.gov account. Well, sorry, but now I think not!

I understand and agree, this seems to be a common issue with other members as well. We normally do not rally our petitions via this avenue and in the future we wont be using this method.

Something I personally do is have separate accounts for these type of things and might be worth it for you but again I am one of those techy guys so my procedures may not work for everyone.
