When I was a kid, me and my bike delivered newspapers, and sometimes the local pharmacy had flyer's that I put with the papers. I have no idea on how many of the flyer's were read, probably not many, but the papers were. There were ads and items of interest in the paper, and it had a reasonable price , thus getting into the hands of many people.
I honestly don't know what happened to the papers that did not sell, maybe they were made into cardboard boxes or something, but I am sure they were used.
AMAC prints a pretty good magazine with great articles and lots and lots of information. I am sure they print more than what is needed for the members of AMAC. What happens to the extra magazines? Me, I would like to get maybe 20-30 extra copies every month, and pass them around to the Senior Centers, doctors offices, barber shops, and veterans organizations for reading while waiting for services, or just general information.
I am an AMAC Ambassador, and think having a few magazines to show potential members just the kind of information we produce would help in increasing our membership and possibly future sponsors.
I live in Las Vegas, and I can see the potential for AMAC growth here, IF we have the proper tools. Membership Enrollment Forms are just not enough. I would also like to see a "Special Ambassador Package" for recruitment, and perhaps speaking guidelines as to what AMAC offers, and expects to offer in the future. Perhaps some place card for businesses to show they offer a discount to AMAC members.
We are growing, but we can grow faster, and become stronger with the proper tools.
