My husband brought in your magazine from the mailbox. What a horrible experience to see Obama big as life on the cover!!!  yawnyawn

Even after reading articles on the inside dealing with the disappointing election, it did not counteract the fact that you put him on the cover. This elevates him in the mind of anyone who happens to see your magazine, not knowing what your organization is all about. Whoever made the cover choice should be fired!!!

Maybe not fired, but I have also seen enough of him to last me the rest of my life and then some.

I thought the same thing about the cover and how it may influence a possible member. I quit AARP some time ago because of their Obama cheerleading. To see that cover may be interpreted as supporting him.

BTW, the cover page of my magazine hit the trash immediately after I received my magazine.

I was not pleased to see President Obama, on the cover of our magazine myself.  But it’s not a bad thing.  While reading it in a public place I had a well known democrat in my neighborhood {ask me if he could see the magazine when I was done with it.}He thinking that it was a good article about, the President.  You can't always judge a book by its cover, and I thought the article said a lot about who He is and what he's done. (Or not done depending on how you feel about him.) I sat there almost giggling like a child, as I watched this democrat cringe, as he read the article.  I almost wet myself as I watched his face as he finished your article.  He throwing magazine down and walking off, like he had a corncob stuck up his a-s.  No I too could have foregone the picture on the cover.  I think this issue will have to go in the magazine rack in the bathroom.. But not before I see to it that a few more democats get to read it.

Damn isn't life great!!

When I saw the cover, my first thought was "Know your enemy". Because ladies read these inputs, I will just say that my feeling was that this scumbags picture should not even grace the walls of an outhouse, let alone a magazine that goes to 350,000 members. I don't think whoever puts this magazine together gave a ot of thought to the cover, but the articles are I feel getting better and better.

I have to admit that Senior Crusaders idea of sharing it with democrats is excellent. All my magazines go to the book rack at different barber shops, and hopefully will be read by more than one person.

The cover was a big part of discussion for the magazine before it went to print. We also received a lot of feedback about it, some positive some negative. For the negative responses our management provided the following letter be send out to those that dislike the cover.

Dear Member,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the magazine cover of The AMAC Advantage. Your opinion is important to us! We are sorry to hear that you felt that the picture of President Obama was a poor choice. President Obama was chosen for our cover of this magazine for a reason. Many Americans feel that the President has divided our country. The main feature article offers an opinion on how the President is not listening to the American people.

AMAC stands for smaller government and is working hard to help preserve the values afforded to Americans through our Constitution. We hope that you will continue to stand with AMAC as we work to protect your interests and to offer an alternative perspective on how best to solve the problems seniors face today.

We are asking our members to please take a moment and read the open letter to President Obama on page 7 written by the founder of AMAC, Dan Weber. Dan brings to light why now more than ever we need AMAC fighting for our conservative seniors.

God Bless You!
