I live in the western part of the state. The nearest city of size is La Crosse.

Was born in Beloit, raised in Madison, married a gal from Baraboo, none of which worked out well. So I left Wisconsin, and am now residing in Las Vegas.

One quick question Tom.  If you were raised in Madison how come you are conservative?

You must have been one of the 3 conservatives in that political wilderness. biggrin

I left in 1960... Berkley East, (Univ of Wisc) was just starting to come into its own as a left wing school. Upon leaving I was influnced by a few hard driving Marine Coprs Drill Instructors to have, keep and honor faith and loyality to God, Country, and Corps. I just storta carried with me the rest of my life.

Yeah, not as lean, not as mean but still one hell of a proud MARINE. Did 27 years that little greem machine. Still miss it after 26 years. (Retired in 1987)
