In Defense of Internment by Michelle Malkin is one of those books that surprises you with information that had long been overlooked or has been denied by so many, for so long, that the true becomes very illusive.
She sequentially lays out the case that the Japanese internment during WW2 was a neccesary action, not a racist reaction, that needed to be done for the protection of this country. She backs up her case with cables sent from Japanese living in the US to the military in Japan, just prior to the Pearl harbor attack.
It certainly opened my eyes about the topic, and it will open yours also.
