1 lb ground beef-¼ tsp salt-1 medium onion, chopped-1 pkg (24 oz) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed-1 can (10 ¾ oz) cream of mushroom soup-1 cup sour cream-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese-1 or 2 cans (2.8 oz each) French fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Brown beef with salt and onions.Add potatoes, soup, sour cream and cheese.Mix well, and spread into 13x9” baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.Top with French fried onions baking 15 minutes more or until bubbly.
