I think Dan Weber is in error.  I do not think the seniors will determine the coming election, a lot will not bother to vote.  They will have an effect, but it will be the Independents and younger voters that are tired of not having a job, and having to still live at home that will be the deciding factor.  Obama is a dynamic speaker, and could convince a jockey to buy a dead horse, but he is doing nothing to improve the plight of the American people.  Personally, I feel Romney is the better choice, and will do more for the country, but he does not have the "graveyard vote", nor the illegal or criminal vote.

We, as conservatives need to drag every senior citizen to the polls, and make sure they vote, and vote for what is best for America.

Right on Tom!

The 2012 elections may be the most important that we Seniors have seen in our lifetimes. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are all under attack.  The budget cannot be balanced on the backs of Seniors who have worked all of our lives, and have paid into a system that made promises for our retirement.

If you have never been politically active before, this is the time to change that. Pay close attention to what the candidates are saying about these programs. Make sure you are registered to vote.  You must be heard at this presidential election.

Go to congressional town halls and campaign speeches. Speak up loudly. Make them listen. Use email to contact your Congressman & Senators. Talk to your relatives and friends to register your opinions, and encourage them to vote in November. The bottom line is that we must become deeply involved in the political process through the 2012 elections. Our future will depend upon it.
