I think Mitt Romney’s Veep Pick was kind of a risky choice.I know Rep. Ryan is seen by many as a star in the Republican Party, and is unafraid to put controversial ideas on the table.Rep. Ryan should energize the conservatives of the Midwest.However, I’m fearful that his ideas about Medicare (which he wants to turn into a voucher system) will ultimately cause Romney to lose some votes.
I thought a better pick would have been Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida.Florida is a swing state, which would have helped the GOP quite a bit.Even though not chosen, I expect Sen. Rubio will campaign for Romney across the country in the coming weeks.

Perhaps because his parents came here legally it does not apply. Well I guess since he is a conservative anchor baby status does not apply to him. It only seems to apply to those who would likely vote democratic.

Paul Ryan is a good choice and he seems to know what he's talking about. He tried to put the skids on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as things were spiraling out of control but no one would listen.
Rubio is a good guy but cannot be president if something should happen to Romney. The Constitution says the president must be a natural born citizen and Rubio is not a natural born citizen.
As for Medicare under the Romney/Ryan Plan, I thought they said nothing would change for those 55years and above.
And I might add, Mr Obama took 716 Billion from Medicare to put in his affordable healthcare folly so that in itself leaves us in a bigger lurch...another reason to repeal Obamacare. He also took 53 billion from Social Security.

His father supposedly was here on a grant going to college? He was a Kenyan born in Kenya and only here on a visa. So I guess that if Obama is eligible then Rubio should be also.
