Why do so many Country Music Singers get into trouble in the Big T?  (Just wondering.)    

Today, in Sherman, TX, Randy Travis was charged with driving while intoxicated & threatening a State Trooper after he crashed his car and was found naked as a jaybird at the scene.  In 1999, 73 year old Ray Price was arrested here in Texas for possession of marijuana.  Doug Supernaw, was arrested recently in Bryan, Texas, and charged with public intoxication and fleeing from an officer.   Last year near El Paso, TX, where I live, Willie Nelson was arrested for possession of the “weed.” 

In the sixties, also here in El Paso, Johnny Cash got caught with cocaine he purchased in Juarez, Mexico. And then there is George Jones, who tells the story of his wife hiding his car keys, so he got on his riding lawnmower and drove 10 miles to Beaumont, TX, to a liquor store.  And the list goes on and on!  It must be the water down here, because for many, soon after they arrive, all hell breaks loose, and they go berserk!

Maybe Country Music Singers and Texas water just aren’t compatible!!! Or is it our cheap tequila? Any Ideas?
