New from Oklahoma City

I'm 63 years old and originally from Oklahoma City.  After having spent many years living all over the country my wife and I are now back in OKC.  Because it's the best place we've ever lived?  No, because of cost of living and doctors.  I must add that my wife is also a member of AMAC.

I'm a former Marine 0351, '70-'71, who, by the Grace of God, lived through that period.  I am a member of the NRA, the American Legion, the D.A.V. and The Marine Corps Association.

I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984, but am a Sooner fan.  I retired in 1996 from a company that downsized and sent all their manufacturing jobs to communist China while laying off employees and allowing managers to retire.

For kicks my wife, a retired flight attendant, and I now travel.  Our most memorable and moving excursions were the two trips to Europe it took us to visit most of the American War Cemeteries and monuments, both WW ll and WW l.  We traveled the route of the "Highway of Liberty" from Utah Beach to Bastogne veering from that to cemeteries and monuments.  One more trip will complete our visits of history, remembrance and tribute.
