I don't believe in all that global warmer stuff. People pushing me to "Go Green" is sickening.
I've gone green in my own way. I got a green SUV and just today I had a green beer.

Global Warming aka Climate Change or Sustainable Green Futures is a religious experience, no more and no less

Christopher Columbus Caused Global Warming

Four of the five worst Western droughts in the last 600 years occurred during the life of Christopher Columbus. The most severe of these began in 1492. Do you know what happened in 1492? There was another severe drought in 1580. The drought of 1703 lasted for 16 years. All of these droughts were more severe than the famous 1930s drought that caused the dustbowl. Furthermore, periods of extremely dry and extremely wet climate conditions were typical before 1900 – a century of relatively benign weather.

Will America get hotter? Over the last 600 million years maximum average temperatures generally reached 22 degrees C. during warm periods. In 2014, and despite global warming concerns, it is thought global temperatures will average less than 15 degrees C. If this is a normal climate cycle, our earth will get another 7 degrees warmer before global temperatures begin to plunge.

So. Why are we blaming humans for what nature naturally does?

I believe in climate change, it's been going on since the earth was born. IF there were no climate change, now that would be strange. It has come to light because the Democrats need a new issue, their claim that the Republicans want to take away your Social Security has lost it's fear factor. The climate is changing and there is nothing man can do about it, but as with everything else the liberals get a hold of, watch your wallet.

FYI, I am new to this. If I read things correctly I cannot provide a URL in my first 5 posts so no URL because this is my first post or reply. For a really good look at "Climate Change" and who is causing what, look up the Global Warming Petition Project. Over 37,000 scientists have signed the petition and their names are on the site. It provides some of the best, most thorough and easiest to comprehend information I have ever found in my research on the topic.

I totally agree with you.  I have always thought the global warming issue is just diversionary rhetoric by the dems for whatever new scandal they want to be involved in.

Our astute membership has put this in proper perspective. The climate changes every day, year, decade, etc.. How many ice ages were there BEFORE man was created to cause them.

The only issue that may affect climate change that is within our power to correct is pollution. It IS NOT the cause of climate change, but certainly could contribute to it. THE reason to clean up our act is for our survival and quality of life and, most assuredly, we owe it to our children to offer to them at least what was left to us. This will take wisdom and cooperation that is not presently in sight. If we all look honestly at our participation in this and each make sensible changes in our lives it will make a significant change without major political overkill. When is the last time that government fixed anything!!!
