Foth - how is the Turmeric supplement that you take?  Is it in capsule form?  It is great that it has helped you so much.

We were introduced to the Aim Company in January, 2012.  They manufacture a number of whole food items that help people to enjoy better health.  One in particular is remarkable, and can help people prevent/eliminate cancer issues. It is called Barley Life, and helps to balance the PH in your body so it is not too acidic nor alkaline.  We have several stories of family/friends that it has helped.  Our bodies can heal, if given proper nutrition and supplements.

Foth -  is a whole food powder, made from barley grass.  I helps to balance the PH in your body, so it isn't too acidic nor alkaline.

We found out about it from a friend in January, 2012, and have been using it since then.  Just once a day, dissolved in water.  It has numerous health benefits.  Depending on the need, people can use it 3-4 times per day.  You drink the green water 30 minutes before eating anything on an empty stomach.  It does not have to be digested, and goes directly into the cells of the body.  It has chlorophyll, which turns into hemoglobin in the cell. Do a Google search, to see what foods are alkaline, and which are acidic.  It may surprise you.

Smarty - Yes, the turmeric is in capsule. The brand name is Nature's Way. My wife gets it from the health food section of a large grocery chain in our area. Normally it is priced at about $25 for a month's supply which makes it the most expensive of all the suppliments I use. Recently they ran a BOGO sale which helped a lot.

Is Barley Life a food supplement or a food item? Never heard of it before.

Smarty - Sounds like something I might be interested in knowning more about. I have heard that acid or alkaline foods (not sure which) can contribute to inflamatory diseases. I am not sure about posting a link but I do remember seeing a box on the profile page that looks like it is set up to allow members to send messages directly to other members. Perhaps you could use that method to send me the link. Or ask Dan about for clarification on AMAC rule on Links.

My understanding is that acid has a few bad effects, not the least of which is breaking down teeth. My guess is that the "ideal" is having an internal acidity of between 6 (slightly acidic) to 8 (slightly base).

Personally, I would prefer to be AlKaline because he is one of my favorite (retired) baseball players. biggrin

Please forgive the horrid pun, it's after midnight here.... yawn
