Well, i garggled Listerine, washed my entire body with Lava soap, used half a stick of deoderant, shaved, got a haircut, shined my shoes, pressed, my clothes, cleaned my glasses. I don't know what else I can do to try to meet someone else thats a member of AMAC here in my area. Maybe offer a free beer or cup of coffee. I know you are out there, lets work together to see if we can make AMAC grow.

Badass,

My wife and are into shooting handguns, and I do a lot of wood work, (I also collect canons, old children's wagons, and "Made in Occupied Japan" figurines.) The wife collects sad irons, (has over 50) and butter churners. We like to visit ghost towns and cemeteries as we travel.

Would love to find a way to get water in Lake Mead without robbing the land to the north.

Am also looking to meet some local AMAC members that want to help this organization grow...

 Hi Tom,

I am also a Las Vegas resident and an AMAC for nearly 3 years now. You and your wife sound like a very interesting couple. What part of town do you live in? I am in the northwest. Maybe you and your wife would be interested in attending a seniors meeting that I was introduced to by one of our congressman.

Judith,

You are the first person that has contacted me that is a member of AMAC. WE live right off US 95, near Rancho and Bonanza. Both Gwen and I are involved with the Derfelt Senior Center on Washington St here in Las Vegas, I also teach a writing class there. We would enjoy meeting you and?? sometime. We get up at 5AM, so anytime after that as long as it don't interfere with a doctors appointment. You can reach me at tkaiser567@hotmail.com if you would like.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Tom

You are close to me, Decatur and Craig. I also am an early riser 0400 most days. I volunteer Mon. Tue and Wed. Thursday and Friday or even week-ends are good for me.

I am also a shooter (not very good though). Collector of Civil War art and artifacts, and also an avid reader.

Would like to get together sometime and brain storm on how to get more people involved with AMAC.

Judy

Judith,

I got a notice that you sent me a message on AMAC, but I cannot find the message. Perhaps you could send it again.

Thanks
Tom

Judy,

Don't know what is happening here.  I signed out, and signed back in, and your message was there???  Would enjoy meeting with you for coffee or??

What kind of guns do you shoot?  I collect cannons, (over 100 of them), (No, I don't shoot them, but do have a few that can be shot) most that I have are Civil War era, and some earlier.  I try to stay away from the naval type cannons, and prefer the full wheel type.

Monday morning Gwen has to go get her fingerprints done for the Derfelt Center, and Tuesday morning she has an eye appointment, Thursday I teach a class at the Center at 11:30, so pretty much any other time would be fun to meet and talk.

Let me know what works for you, and where you might like to meet at.  I think you would like Gwen, she is pretty cool.

Tom

I own several hand guns and shotguns. Where do you keep these cannons, are they miniature replicas?
Sounds like a good idea to get together, I am a delegate so I am sure we have a great deal to talk about.

I have a few handguns, and a few rifles. and a couple of shotguns, never know when the need will arise. Where would you like to meet, and when? Gwen has an eye appointment Tuesday at 8;!5 which we think will take about an hour to an hour and a half, so anytime after 10;30 on Tuesday works for us, or Wednesday before 11:30, as we have an event at the Derfelt Senior Center at 11:30.

I am assuming that you are a delegate for either the Republican party, or the Tea party.

I have most of the cannons (miniature) in my computer room, have a few in the family room, (one weights about 40 pounds), and some behind the bar in the family room.

Drop me a line at tkaiser567@hotmail.com if you have time.

Tom
