I was kind of shocked when I went to http://amac.us/member.discounts.php to find out what businesses and things were available to AMAC members here in Las Vegas, NV.  There is one thing available, Carpet Cleaning.  We have all tile, so that was not a lot of help.

I know there are businesses out there screaming for customers.  I know a united effort by members could gather businesses in different fields that could offer a discount to groups like AMAC, if those groups made themselves known as potential customers.

I think AMAC needs to handle the businesses on a national level, but members could get local businesses to possibly offer a discount, and that could be posted on the member.discount web site so that when visitors come, they could hunt up those businesses that support AMAC, and spend a few dollars, letting the business know they are AMAC members.

I don't know how to contact other members of AMAC here in  Las Vegas, but I think it would well be worth the effort.  It will be awhile before AMAC is a household word like aarp, but with a united effort, I think it can happen.
