It seems like yesterday was the first time I heard about Amac, and it's true I have only been doing this for a couple weeks.  After receiving my first packet I introduced my friends, family and coworkers to this organization.  I soon had people ask me what Amac was all about.  I find that I cannot get the word out fast enough.  I've been asked to speak at several local community organizations.  Now I'm not much of a public speaker.  So what I have done to make my presentations easier, I have developed a PowerPoint program, printed off business cards(just an introductory card with the AMAC logo, my name, and contact information.) I have found its easier to get someone to accept a business card, then the brochures.  Once I have there retention it is easier to leave them with a Brochure and application.  I've also contacted our local senior activity coordinator for are senior center/recreation center/and all motels and are small town.  I'm now in the process of contacting the local republican headquarters, to see if they can help me a spread the word.  But there must be others out there who have done/tried other things?  This is the place to share those experiences.  I will be working this summer to sponsor or assist with some local sporting events.  We have a local tee shirt factory who is trying to find out if we can put a logo (Amac) on tee shirts.$$$ also would like to start a local meat and eat--or just a group to meet for coffee.  Hope this helps someone else get started, hope others will share their stories.  Looking forward to what you have to say.biggrinclap.gif

Please do something about your website. It takes too long to go to a topic  from your home page. Pegatno.gif

I think the problem may lay within the Newsletter that goes out saturday morning. Since the newsletter generates a big bandwith spike on saturday morning the site sometimes slows down during this time. We are developing a system to spread this out. We apologize for this but it does mean something good. It shows that the newsletter we have is quite successful!

Greetings. Should I have received a packet of information after joining? If so, I haven't received anything yet. I also send a couple of emails to the email address listed in "Contact Us", and have never received a reply back. Additionally, when I printed my temporary cards the page said I would receive a receipt via email. I never received one. Did I fall through the cracks somewhere? My temporary cards show a member ID # 297565 and an order number 335200812.
